About the Opportunity PWL is searching for an experienced technical Intermediate Systems Administrator to join an engaging and fast paced environment. The successful candidate will support the IT Team on day-to-day disruptions, maintaining data security, mitigating risk, and maintaining the operational efficiency of user devices, client software, and services. Responsibilities & Activities Serve as the escalation point for complex or critical technical issues and will provide guidance and assistance in troubleshooting and resolving these issues Plan and lead daily status meetings, internal technology projects, product reviews, and application testing Applying and maintaining adequate cybersecurity controls for supported technologies Develop IT policies and procedures, knowledge base and share practical tips to users and clients Contribute to the evolution of technology support tools and processes and promoting the implementation of industry best practices, processes, and policies Staying updated with latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices Be onsite as needed (Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal Datacenter) Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related, or equivalent experience required 5+ years of system administration experience Background in accounting or finance sector is an asset Strong subject matter expertise of helpdesk and IT support best practices to provide clients with technical guidance and assist with highly complex troubleshooting/problem resolution Extensive experience installing and supporting desktop and cloud Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sway, SharePoint, OneNote, Teams) Experience in managing and implementing Microsoft Security Solutions is an asset Experience with ticket systems (JIRA), remote support tools, and troubleshooting techniques Experience with virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V), networks (LAN and WAN), and patch management Experience with testing and basic quality assurance verifications Working knowledge of computer components, Windows operating systems, printing and scanning devices Knowledge of Dynamics CRM, Telephony, Cybersecurity Framework IT certifications in Microsoft or other related certifications are an asset How to apply We are a rapidly growing firm with a diverse group of clients – there is never a dull moment.
