Two years, without interruption, in the Antarctic looking for the ozone hole provided Graham early valuable lessons: (i) money and wealth are not the same (ii) facts are more easily acquired than empathy.
Graham subsequently spent a decade on technology transfer from the government to the private sector in the UK, U.S., and Canada. Third lesson: if you want to help change people’s behaviour, change their environment.
Time with a large Canadian bank brokerage provided opportunities to practice what Graham had learned, especially the third lesson. So he left, and established the Waterloo office of PWL Capital in 2010.
Graham has a particular interest in providing reliable retirement income in an uncertain world.
