Administrative Assistant – Client Services

The Administrative Assistant – Client Services position in the Parkyn Team is located at our head office in downtown Montreal. This position offers the opportunity to learn and be involved in the workings and management of a Private Client Wealth Management team. As an Administrative Assistant – Client Services, your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative and service support to the Parkyn Team in all matters relating to client account administration.

  1. Team Support
    • Manage client files (paper & online)
    • Manage database (update client information on file)
    • Any other administrative support that may be required
  2. Account Paperwork and Administration
    • Prepare necessary documents for new account openings
    • Prepare necessary documents for existing account updates
    • Manage outstanding documentation and ensure timely follow-up
    • Generate monthly statements for mailing
    • Assist clients with online access
  3. Transfer Tracking and Cash Management
    • Maintain up to date log of accounts and money transfers
    • Process cheque requests, funds transfers, journals, deregistrations, contributions and other cash operations
    • Track and manage regular EFT and RRIF payments
  4. Requirements
    • Minimum 3 years financial services experience
    • Bilingual
    • Completion of Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practises Handbook Course an asset
