Leaving a Job with a Defined Benefit Pension Plan

If you’re leaving a job that had a defined benefit pension plan, you’ll have to make a decision about what to do with that pension. The default route is to do nothing, and keep that pension with your current employer. But there are a number of other options available to you. Which one should you choose? Like everything that has to do with personal finance, it depends. There are a number of factors that will affect your decision such as your benefits, the type of investor you are, and the company your plan is with. I review these factors in more detail in my video below.
