Cameron joined PWL Capital in 1997. He is a partner in the firm as well as a Portfolio Manager. He has been in the financial services industry since 1990.

Benjamin works with PWL Capital’s clients to deliver portfolio recommendations and financial planning advice. He joined PWL in late 2013 after starting his career in financial services as a mutual fund representative for a large institution. Benjamin completed his MBA at Carleton University in 2014, and was awarded the CFA Charter in August 2016.
When he is not meeting with clients or writing blog posts, Benjamin volunteers as the co-president of the board of directors for Families Matter Co-op.
Matt joined the Passmore team in late 2015, after starting his career in financial services in 2013. Matt graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelors of Commerce concentrating in Finance and brings experiences from family run businesses. He is passionate about PWL’s disciplined investment approach and financial planning to help clients achieve their goals.
Matt’s current responsibility is to support the portfolio management function, ensuring client requests are met promptly, cash management of client’s portfolios are invested accordingly and ensuring a seamless investment process.
Laura Spencer has been on the Passmore team since 2000. She is committed to providing a positive client experience every step of the way. She prides herself on being thorough, prompt, efficient, reachable and professional. Laura is Cameron’s assistant as well as oversees all aspects of the client relationship: account opening, appointment setting or money requests. Max brings a strong mathematics background to the wealth management function. His primary role is to assist the Portfolio Manager by continually monitoring client portfolios, ensuring they are in line with the targets unique to the client. This includes executing trades when cash inflow needs deployment, recommending action when a portfolio necessitates rebalancing or restructuring, and notifying the Portfolio Manager when there is potential for tax optimization. He is also the tax liaison for the Passmore team. Max’s mathematical aptitude is an important asset in developing communication and reporting tools for individual client situations.
Since joining PWL in late 2013, Tessa has applied her strong organization skills and work ethic to managing client relationships, daily operations and office administration. She is currently a licensed investment advisor working towards obtaining the CFP designation. Tessa’s academic background in psychology is an asset; her unique perspective is particularly valuable as it applies to the behavioral aspect of building a long term financial plan.
