Anthony S. Layton – President, CEO, and Branch Manager
Brenda Bartlett – Chief Operating Officer
Brenda brings a 20 year track record of successfully achieving strategic goals at major Canadian financial institutions. Her personal values of integrity and transparency match the PWL culture. Brenda’s breadth and depth of knowledge on Canadian investors and the marketplace means that she is uniquely placed to capitalize on PWL’s strengths and continue to grow the firm. With a strong, experienced hand at the helm, Brenda oversees the day-to-day operations and she leads the management team in setting the strategic direction of the firm and in the implementation of major initiatives.
Giovanni Pellegrino – Chief Financial Officer
As PWL’s CFO, Giovanni puts his CA and CFA designations to work establishing accounting policies, financial strategies and financial controls, ensures the integrity of all financial results and regulatory financial filings. His careful attention to detail and the expertise he earned from his experience as a Financial Compliance Examiner for the IDA and a Senior Auditor with Ernst & Young, are applied to every action he takes; from managing the internal accounting team to relationships with auditors, regulators, and suppliers.
Christiane Gazaille – Chief Compliance Officer
As Chief Compliance Officer at PWL, Christiane Gazaille plays a vital role in day-to-day operations of the company. She is responsible for monitoring all investment based activities of the firm. She monitors all policies and procedures to ensure that PWL is operating with the strongest controls and compliance practices. Christiane’s knowledge and expertise gained from 24 years’ experience in the investment and Canadian financial services industry, as well as her work for IDA are invaluable assets. Her integrity and attention to detail are essential assets, as she conducts regular audits of clients’ portfolios, as well as daily review of all trades.

Raymond Kerzérho – Director of Research
Raymond is the Director of Research at PWL Capital. He has spent a large part of his career managing bond and derivative product portfolios for pension funds, mutual funds and for a major bank. He holds degrees from HEC Montreal (BBA) and Laval University (MBA) and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Raymond’s mission is to maximize clients’ risk-adjusted return by applying his in-depth knowledge of the capital markets.
Raymond chairs the PWL Capital Investment Committee. Over the years Raymond has authored numerous articles, white papers and economic commentaries. He is sought-out by members of the media as a trusted and knowledgeable source on capital markets.
Astrid Moll – Director, Operations
Astrid is Director of Operations for the company, and a graduate in banking techniques, management and environment, of the European Bank Academy (a program organized by four leading universities in the major European Financial centers of London, Paris, Frankfurt and Luxembourg). Her work as a trader on money market foreign exchange and equities’ desks has given her in-depth knowledge of the capital markets and their daily operations. This global experience brings a big picture depth to the daily operations of PWL. Her attention to detail ensures that client portfolios are accurate and up-to-date.
Maggie Alongi – Director, Marketing and Communications
As the Director of Marketing and Communications, Maggie is responsible for creating clear, concise and thoughtful communications for our clients, including developing a strong Web-based platform and publicity tools. She also works to develop a broader awareness of the PWL Capital brand in the Canadian marketplace. Her career path has allowed Maggie to develop a solid experience in all areas of communications, and a strong entrepreneurial approach to project management. At PWL, she uses her creative skills to help the team work together and deploying the right medium at the right time, to reach out to our clients.
Eric Lavoie – Director, Information Technology
As Director of Information Technology, Eric Lavoie ensures the implementation and maintenance of PWL’s internal computer systems. His technological expertise in security and access to data over networks, assures that all client data is protected by the swift and judicious implementation of the latest industry standards for network security. His rapid response to technical issues and care in implementing the right technology to each situation mean that PWL’s electronic communications are up and running, so that our clients’ are well served.
